SECTION 2 - PG 3: BIGOTRY & PREJUDICE

It is heartening to me to see more and more dudes (& women too) coming out from behind the wall of ignorance, bigotry, prejudice, cowardice, and FEAR..and begin to walk proudly tall as and for WHOM they are and not as others would have them or expect of them...especially in the Middle East.

I know full well there are still major problems in places like Pakistan, Afghanistan and elsewhere such as Uganda, Iraq, Iran, and yes America...when it comes to mindless hatred, prejudice, bigotry, ignorance...and all that that entails. Bigotry that is often centuries old and in the case of Pakistan didn't even originate with them, but with the Brits when they ruled that part of the Middle East in the mid 1800's. YES, the EIGHTEEN HUNDREDS. Good God...and those anti-LGBT and Anti-woman laws still on the books but really never enforced DO NOT REALLY EVEN DEAL with the backward leaning areas of the ME countries, primarily rural.

BUT, KUDO'S to those fighting for equal rights for ALL of humanity NO MATTER WHERE, even in the United States. It is ABOUT TIME we as a species and as a collective humanity put behind us ONCE AND FOR ALL, BIGOTRY, It dehumanizes, is NOT GODLY in ANY meaningful way nor is it truly God like even though Bigotry and prejudice may reflect RELIGIOUS views (man not God),  and they definitely entrap those who are its victims in an endless cycle of hate/fear/hate/fear...and worse.

HOW MANY HAVE DIED THROUGHOUT HISTORY IN RELIGIOUS-BASED WARS?
MORE than have died for ANY OTHER REASON, and it is ALL SO STUPID.

NO GOD I KNOW IS PRO-HATE, and yet so many of the various Religious Theocrats and their communities who buy this bullshit, ARE.

MEN OF HATE AND INTOLERANCE have run roughshod over people for time immemorial, and it never seems to completely go away. Whether Islam, Christianity, or whatever, CHURCHIANITY is NOT
the same thing. IT IS NOT!

ALL RELIGIONS TEACH LOVE but then so many of their human proponents DO the OPPOSITE.

I LOVE YOU AS LONG AS YOU DO WHAT I WANT. IF NOT? I WILL SMITE YOU.

NOTHING OF GOD DOES THE OPPOSITE OF UPLIFTING YOUR SPIRIT.

NOTHING OF GOD DOES THE OPPOSITE OF LOVE

NOTHING. PERIOD. 

NOTHING THAT PURPORTS TO BE OF ANY WORTHY GOD CONDONES HATE!

NOTHING. PERIOD.

RELIGION IS MAN'S INTERPRETATION OF HOW WE THINK GOD WANTS US TO WORSHIP HIM. If you have an enduring GOD,  JUST ASK HIM. NO TRUE GOD condones hatred, war, or intolerance. That is MAN'S idea.

LOVE CONQUERS ALL, and if allowed to flourish,WILL. PERIOD.

AMEN.

PS:  THOSE OF US WHO BELIEVE IN THE CREED,  ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, PERIOD...need to STAND with those still fighting for the right to live FREE, as FREE MEN AND WOMEN, and irregardless of religion or class or orientation or gender or ethnicity or whatever, openly and without fear.

TO THAT WE NEED TO LIFT OUR GLASSES AND OUR HEARTS.

BORN FREE DOES NOT JUST APPLY TO THE ANIMAL KINGDOM.

IT APPLIES TO HUMANITY, NOW AND FOREVER. PERIOD.
